MK Dons' trip to Barnsley postponed due to Tykes' international call-ups

MK Dons’ upcoming trip to play Barnsley has been postponed due to international call-ups for the Yorkshire club.

Paul Warne’s side had been scheduled to make the trip to Oakwell on Saturday October 3, in a match scheduled to take place during the upcoming extended international break.

However, Barnsley confirmed they have met the threshold for international call-ups, with both their game against the Dons and their match away at Bradford City the week before being postponed.

MK Dons will now have a break after their match against Bromley on September 26, with the Dons returning to action when they play in the EFL Trophy on October 6 against Brentford’s junior side.

Both Barnsley and MK Dons confirmed that details of the new date will be announced in due course.
