The countdown is officially on! There is now just one year to go until IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2027 returns, bringing ten days of spectacular performances, art, music and unforgettable experiences to the city.
Running from 23 July to 1 August 2027, the biennial festival has earned a reputation as one of the UK's leading cultural events, transforming familiar locations across Milton Keynes into unique performance spaces and celebrating creativity in all its forms.
As excitement builds, organisers have announced that centre:mk will once again be the Festival's Headline Partner, continuing a long-standing partnership that has helped bring world-class arts and cultural events to the heart of the city.
Produced by The Stables, the Festival attracts artists and audiences from across the UK and beyond, while encouraging local residents to experience Milton Keynes in new and unexpected ways.
Monica Ferguson, Chief Executive and Artistic Director of The Stables, said: "With one year to go, we're excited to start the journey towards IF: 2027. The Festival has become one of the UK's flagship events, transforming familiar spaces and bringing unforgettable experiences to audiences of all ages. We are thrilled that centre:mk will once again be our Headline Partner and thank them for their much-valued support of the Festival and its ambitions."
Kevin Duffy, Centre Director at centre:mk, added: "We are delighted to once again be Headline Partner of IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2027. The Festival is a hugely important part of the city's cultural calendar, and we're proud to continue supporting an event that brings such creativity and energy to Milton Keynes. We look forward to working with the Festival team to help deliver another unforgettable edition in 2027."
The Festival is also supported by Arts Council England and Milton Keynes City Council. Councillor Jane Carr, Leader of Milton Keynes City Council, said: "The International Festival transforms Milton Keynes with an exciting programme that surprises, inspires and brings people together. We're proud to support its success and encourage local businesses to seize the opportunity to get involved and help make next year's Festival even bigger and better."
If you're looking forward to discovering what's in store, you'll have to wait a little longer, with the full programme set to be revealed in Spring 2027. In the meantime, businesses and organisations interested in supporting the Festival can explore sponsorship and partnership opportunities ahead of next summer's event.
Whether you're a fan of live music, theatre, dance, outdoor performances or large-scale art installations, IF: Milton Keynes International Festival promises another exciting celebration of culture when it returns next July.
