Multiple fire crews attended a major fire at a commercial property in the Tongwell era of Milton Keynes.
Eight crews attended a fire on Michigan Drive in the Tongwell area of MK, which broke out at around 8:35pm last night (19/08).
Crews from Broughton, Olney, West Ashland (two crews), Buckingham, Towcester and Kempston, along with a turntable ladder from West Ashland and an incident command unit from Aylesbury, and four officers attended a commercial fire involving machinery.
At the height of the incident, firefighters used six sets of breathing apparatus, three main jets, one hose reel jet, thermal imaging cameras and positive pressure ventilation equipment to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters remained on scene for several hours extinguishing hotspots, cutting away building materials and carrying out thermal imaging checks for hot spots.
