A new charging hub station for electric vehicles (EV) has been installed at the XScape leisure complex in Milton Keynes.
RAW Charging, the leading electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint operator for the leisure, hospitality and retail sectors, has installed a new ultra-rapid charging hub covering 32 charging bays at the leisure complex in Central Milton Keynes, which is the larget in the region and is now open to visitors.
Milton Keynes is pitched as a key market for the sector, with 72% of journeys made by vehicle within the city.
The new charging hub installed includes 32 new EV charging points, part of which features eight rapid bays and eight ultra-rapid chargers for quick visits, which drivers can use to top up their vehicles while visiting Xscape.
To ensure a seamless experience for all drivers, RAW’s chargers support contactless payment and all major EV charging apps. Drivers can also enjoy free charging by signing up to RAW Rewards to celebrate the opening of the new hub between 11– 13 August, with people able to do so by going through the RAW website.
This installation forms part of RAW and property owner Landsec’s ambitious £24.5 million programme to deliver more than 1,000 new charging bays across 28 of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations, enabling EV drivers to recharge while enjoying the best in shopping, dining and entertainment. To date. more than 150 bays have been delivered, with further sites set to launch throughout 2026.
