Gulliver's Resort hosts return of Land of Lights Festival in Milton Keynes

Gulliver’s Resort in Milton Keynes has announced the return of its Land of Lights Festival, which has been opened by the Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Paul Trendall.

Following the success of the event for the last four years, the Land of Lights festival, held at Gulliver’s Resort in Milton Keynes, has returned for the 2026/27 winter season, with thousands of people having alreaady snapped up tickets between now and its finishing date of February 2027.

Land of Lights features a one-mile route, covering 12 dreamworlds and featuring an array of incredible dinosaurs, all under the theme of ‘magic’, with glowing trails and fantastic scenes to light up the dark winter nights. There will also be music, entertainment, and street food for the thousands of visitors expected this year.

A new theme and look will form up the new edition, taking the form of new lantern displays and glowing scenes along the way of the route.

Darren Hoy, Land of Lights Festival Manager, said, “Thank you to Mayor and Mayoress Trendall for opening Land of Lights 2026 in style! We’re delighted to be welcoming guests back to the festival for another unforgettable season in 2026. Every year we look to build on the success of the festival, and this year’s event will feature even more spectacular illuminated displays, immersive experiences and memorable moments for visitors of all ages.

“Land of Lights has become a much-loved winter attraction, bringing families and friends together while also supporting the local economy during the colder months. Since launching, the festival has continued to grow in popularity, and we’re proud to offer an experience that gives people a truly magical reason to get out and create lasting memories together.”
