Fire crews attend scene after multiple cars on fire in Milton Keynes

Fire crews were in attendance after an incident where multiple cars caught fire in Milton Keynes.

The incident happened in the Oxley Park area of the city on Wednesday last week (02/09) at around 4:15am, when two crews from West Ashland attended a car fire in a car park.

On arrival, firefighters reported that they found two cars well alight, with a further two vehicles affected by the fire.

Firefighters used two hose reel jets, one set of breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera and small gear to extinguish the fire.

Two cars were severely damaged by fire, one additional car sustained minor heat damage and approximately five metres of fencing was damaged.

Thames Valley Police officers also attended the incident.
