Fire crews were summoned after a blaze at a recycling plant at Old Wolverton in Milton Keynes.
One crew from Broughton, one crew from Newport Pagnell and two crews from West Ashland alongside two officers attended a fire at a recycling centre in the Wolverton area involving an industrial shredder on 7 July at around 11:20am.
Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, with firefighters remained on site for some time damping down and checking for hotspots using thermal imaging cameras.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue confirmed that a crew from West Ashland then reinspected the site later to make sure there was no further risk.
Once firefighters were satisfied the area was made safe, the facility was handed back to the person responsible for the site. Firefighters also provided safety advice.
