A 25-year-old man has been shot dead near a pub in southwest London.
Emergency crews were called to reports of gunfire in Willington Road, Clapham shortly before 10pm on Monday.
The victim died at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police said a second man, aged 22, attended hospital with a gunshot wound shortly after the shooting.
He has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in hospital, the force added.
A police forensics tent remained in place across the road from The Landor pub on Tuesday afternoon.
Detective Chief Superintendent Emma Bond, Central South Borough Commander at the Metropolitan Police, said the force understands the incident "will cause concern within the local community and an increased police presence will remain in the area throughout the day".
"Our thoughts remain with the victim's family for their tragic loss," she added.
