Police appeal after exposure and suspicious behaviour reported in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses following reports of exposure and suspicious behaviour in the Tattenhoe area of Milton Keynes.

The incidents occurred between 25 August and 10 September, with the reports concerning incidents that happend primarily in and around Tattenhoe Valley Park and nearby redways.

Thames Valley Police said that the investigation relates to three reports involving females aged 13, 15 and 63.

In the first incident, reported to have occurred at around 3.30pm to 3.45pm on 25 August, a 13-year-old girl was running in Tattenhoe Valley Park when she became concerned that an unknown man was following her around a circuit near the bridges area.

She changed her route before seeking help from a nearby property. The man subsequently left the area.

In a second incident, which took place between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on 7 September, a 63-year-old woman was walking through Tattenhoe Valley Park when she saw a man in bushes who was indecently exposing himself.

A third report relates to two encounters involving a 15-year-old girl. On 7 September, the girl was walking along the Holyhead redway when an unknown man approached her and attempted to start a conversation.

On 10 September at about 3.30pm, she was walking home from school near the community centre by Winfold Lane when what is believed to be the same man stopped alongside her in a light blue five-seater SUV, spoke to her from the vehicle and then drove away.

The man is described as of Asian or Mediterranean heritage, aged between 30 and 50-years-old and around six feet tall.

He has an average build, dark brown hair, brown eyes and is clean shaven.

The vehicle involved in one of the incidents is described as a light blue five-seater SUV.

Investigating officer PC Amy Olah, based at Milton Keynes police station, said, “We are carrying out enquiries into these reports and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any of these incidents, or who may recognise the description of the man involved, to come forward.

“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody who was in or around Tattenhoe Valley Park on 25 August or 7 September, or who was in the area of Holyhead redway or Winfold Lane between 7 and 10 September and may have information that could assist our investigation.
