Milton Keynes Theatre announce details of 2026 autumn season with several events lined up

Milton Keynes Theatre has revealed its 2026 Autumn Season for 2026, featuring a wide litany of events from the worlds of drama, comedy, music and many more.

Among the shows lined up at the theatre include West End hits, grand concerts, family-friendly spectaculars, stars of stage and screen and other events.

The season begins with John Cleese and the Holy Grail on Saturday 5 September, with a celebration of Monty Python superstar John Cleese, a special screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail and exclusive audience Q&A.

Comedy continues with Taskmaster star Sam Campbell on Sun 6 Sep before the circus spectacular Barnum arrives (Tue 8 – Sat 12 Sep), bringing a week of circus-inspired performances to the stage.

Thrills take centre stage as an adaptation of the horror phenomenon Paranormal Activity runs from Tue 15–Sat 19 Sep, before music lovers can enjoy an evening with Michael Ball (Sun 20 Sep).

Closing September will be performances of the Broadway musical Waitress, serving up heart, humour and an acclaimed score from Tue 22– Sat 26 Sep.

October opens with the gripping stage adaptation of famed horror movie The Silence of the Lambs, running from Mon 28 Sep – Sat 3 Oct, followed by comedy icon Sir Lenny Henry (Mon 4 Oct).

Audiences can then experience the multi-award-winning production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Tue 6 – Sat 10 Oct), before one of the world’s favourite musicals, MAMMA MIA!, arrives for a spectacular Abba-themed run beginning on Tue 13 Oct for two weeks.

Music fans are also in for a treat with Status Quo superstar Francis Rossi taking to the stage on Sun 25 Oct, while the month ends with the arrival of the internationally acclaimed Matilda The Musical, opening on Wed 28 Oct and running until Sat 14 Nov.

November features broadcaster and bestselling author Michael Portillo: A Life of Two Halves (Mon 16 Nov), the world-renowned The Australian Pink Floyd Show (Tue 17– Wed 18 Nov), Harry Enfield and No Chums (Thu 19 Nov), Chris Ramsey: Here, Man! (Fri 20 Nov) and Simon Brodkin: Unleashed (Sat 21 Nov).

Country music fans can enjoy A Country Night in Nashville (Sun 22 Nov) before the global smash hit musical Six reigns over Milton Keynes Theatre (Tue 24– Sat 28 Nov), bringing the six wives of Henry VIII to life in a high-energy pop concert sensation.

The festive season begins in magical style as the annual family pantomime Sleeping Beauty opens on Sat 5 Dec, running throughout Christmas and into the New Year until Sun 10 Jan. The latest edition of the Yuletide spectacular promises dazzling costumes, stunning sets, laugh-out-loud comedy and plenty of audience participation in a family friendly treat.

Looking ahead to January, audiences can enjoy an exciting start to 2027 with comedy favourites such as Lucy Beaumont (Wed 13 Jan) and Romesh Ranganathan (Fri 15 Jan).

Further shows include the return of classic mystery Agatha Christie’s The Hollow (Tue 19 – Sat 23 Jan), the acclaimed dance production Matthew Bourne’s Cinderella (Tue 26 – Sat 30 Jan) and iconic musical adaptation of Back to the Future (Tue 9 –Sat 27
Feb).
