Age UK Bedfordshire is an independent local charity supporting older people, their families and carers across Bedfordshire.

The charity has worked in the local community for around 30 years and provides a wide range of practical services designed to help older people remain independent, safe and connected.

What services are available?

Age UK Bedfordshire provides:

• Gardening services

• Handyperson services

• Key safe supply and fitting

• Warmer Homes support

• Carers respite

• Telephone befriending

Its Information and Advice Service can help older people with a wide range of issues, including form filling and accessing financial support.

The service helped older people in Bedfordshire claim more than £2 million in benefit entitlements in the most recently reported year.
