The Parks Trust is looking for a tasty new addition to Linford WoodGot a flair for flipping burgers, dishing up curries, or serving plant-based goodness? If you’re a local food trader with a passion for great grub and a soft spot for the environment, The Parks Trust might have just the pitch for you—literally.
They’re on the lookout for a hot food vendor to run a mobile unit at the Linford Wood car park, serving up dinner delights from 4.30pm to 10.30pm every day (excluding bank holidays). It’s a pretty idyllic spot—tucked off Enfield Chase, just by V7 Saxon Street—popular with locals and out-of-town nature-lovers alike. And yes, they’ve even included a handy What3Words: grouping.suspends.candidate.
This isn’t just a quick summer gig either. The chosen trader will sign up for an 18-month stint starting from 1 October 2025. So, if you’ve been dreaming of putting down (wheeled) roots, now’s your chance.
The Trust is particularly keen on environmentally-conscious vendors—think biodegradable packaging, zero-waste practices, and ideally an eco-friendly vehicle to boot. It’s all about good food, done the right way.
