Willen On Ice is set to return to Willen Lake for another year of ice skating, fairground rides and festive street foods.
Returning on Saturday 21 November and running until Sunday 3 January 2027, this year’s event promises patrons a big winter celebration, with an 800sqm real ice rink beneath a canopy of lights, alongside plenty of opportunities to skate, ride and eat your way for festive frolicers.
The rink will be located by the Willen Observation Wheel, creating the setting for visitors to enjoy the ice and soak up the atmosphere. Beyond the rink, guests can enjoy the bright lights of the fairground, explore a selection of festive street food and warm up at the Après Bar, serving a range of winter warmers.
New additions for 2026 includes the introduction of Wilbur’s Little Skaters, a family-friendly skating session designed especially for the youngest visitors. Little ones can build their confidence on the ice, enjoy festive music, and meet Willen Lake’s much-loved mascot, Wilbur.
For teenagers and young adults, Ice Beats brings a skating session filled with great music and good vibes, offering a fun way to get together with friends and enjoy the rink.
Tickets are available now, with prices starting from £15.90 for under-16s and £18.90 for adults during off-peak sessions. All tickets include skate hire and booking fee.
Visitors can also take advantage of a range of offers, including:
Early Bird Offer: Save 15% on skating sessions in November for a limited time.
Family Saver: Save 10% when booking 3 or more tickets, including at least one adult and one child ticket.
Group bookings: Discounts are available for groups of 4 or more.
Advance booking is recommended, particularly for peak sessions, which are expected to sell quickly.
Robert Wood, Executive Director at Willen Lake, said, “Willen On Ice has become such a special part of the winter season for Milton Keynes, and we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back this year.
“We’ve got a fantastic event lined up, with our real ice rink, fairground rides, festive food and drink, and some exciting new additions. Wilbur’s Little Skaters is something we’re particularly looking forward to, giving our youngest visitors the chance to enjoy the ice in a relaxed and fun environment.
“Whether you’re planning a family outing, a date night or a catch-up with friends, there’s plenty to enjoy. We can’t wait to get the festive season started!”
