Police release images of bike in connection with Milton Keynes murder investigation

Police have releasing images of a bike officers would like information of in connection with a murder in Milton Keynes. 

The release of the images and appeal for information relates to an investigation to an incident that happened at around 4.23pm on Sunday 5 July, officers were called to Bradwell Common by South Central Ambulance Service after they attended and found the victim.

The victim, who was identified by police as Fariss Kapaga-Fakeer, aged 18, with injuries believed to be stab wounds, where he was taken to hospital and sadly later died. 

Thames Valley Police said, “We would like to identify the owner of the bike, or speak to anybody who recognises it, as we believe they may have information that could assist our enquiries. 

“The bike is described as a customised Sur-Ron Light Bee X in dark green and gold, with a RAF-style marking.”

According to their report, the bike was last seen in the Bleak Hall area at around 4.40pm on Sunday 5 July heading towards Coffee Hall. It is known to frequent the Red Ways.   

Two people are due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 8 September in hearings connected to the case.

Senior investigating officer, Detective Inspector Amy Fox of the Major Crime Unit, said: “We are releasing these images of a bike as we believe that it may have vital information in connection with this incident. 

“The image of the bike is similar to the one we are seeking to identify. The image showing the front of the bike, including the RAF-style marking, is of particular interest as part of our enquiries. 

“If you recognise the bike, or have any information relating to it, please contact with us.”
