Police release new CCTV image of missing girl, 13, last seen in Manchester

Police have released a new CCTV image of a 13-year-old girl who went missing more than a week ago.

Lillia, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, left her family home last Friday (11 September).

Having combed through hours of CCTV, officers have now identified a sighting of Lillia at Manchester Piccadilly bus station, at 10.36am on Monday 14 September.

She can be seen wearing a dark outfit with her hood up and is carrying a backpack.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the image shows Lillia after she got off a number 36 bus, having boarded in Salford.

Anyone with information on Lillia's whereabouts or movements after she got off the bus is being asked to contact the force.

Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley, of GMP's Bolton district, said: "Our investigation currently covers the whole of Greater Manchester, with officers across the force being asked to support our enquiries.

"We are also mindful that Lillia could have travelled outside of the Manchester area and are keeping an open mind regarding this possibility.

"If you have any information that could help us find Lillia, I would urge you to come forward. Her family just want her home."

Officers previously identified a sighting of Lillia at the Trafford Centre shopping complex at 1.50pm last Saturday (12 September).

She was then seen at a McDonald's in Market Street, Piccadilly Gardens, at around 8.20pm the following day, before being pictured boarding the bus in Salford on Monday morning.

Lillia is described as white, slim and around 5ft 5in tall, with light brown hair. She also wears glasses.

The 13-year-old's mother made a direct appeal for her to come home on Friday.

"Lill, I love you so, so much," she said in a statement read on her behalf.

"My heart is breaking without you here. I need to know you are safe. We all need you back home safe and well."
