Milton Keynes Lightning is delighted to announce lifestack as our Official Title Sponsor for the 2026/27 season. From the opening face-off, the team will take to the ice as the lifestack Milton Keynes Lightning.

lifestack is an operator-led consultancy founded by Claire Alvis and Steven Bianchi, working with owners of small and medium-sized businesses who want to keep growing without paying for that growth with everything else that matters. Drawing on two decades inside some of Europe’s most ambitious businesses and the funds that backed them, Claire and Steven now bring that thinking to the owners who power our economies — helping them build companies that perform without consuming the life they were built for.

The partnership reflects a shared belief about what high performance actually requires, and what it shouldn’t have to cost. Any club with the resources can invest in its team and its fans — that part is comparative; everyone can do it now. What sets Milton Keynes Lightning apart is how the club operates: the care, the empathy, the authenticity, and the genuine desire for every player, member of staff, and supporter to have a great experience. That is the club’s competitive edge. It is also exactly the kind of edge lifestack exists to amplify.

Tom Roberts,  Director MK Lightning, said:

“It’s been fantastic getting to know Claire and Steven as we’ve formed this partnership. Alongside the commercial side, lifestack is bringing something more to MK Lightning. We’ll be working with them to understand how their services can support the whole ecosystem around the club. That means helping our players manage the demands placed on them on and off the ice, supporting partner businesses who are growing but recognise there’s more to life than work, and reaching anyone in our wider MKL community who’d benefit from help balancing competing priorities. This is exactly the kind of partnership we wanted — one that gives back into the club and the people around it. We’re looking forward to working with Claire, Steven and the lifestack team through the season and beyond.”

Claire Alvis, Co-Founder of lifestack, said:

“We work with owners who are brilliant at what they do and who’ve built something worth protecting — what we help them protect is everything around it. When we look at MK Lightning, we see a club that understands that tension instinctively. We don’t see this as sponsorship in the traditional sense. We see it as a partnership — one where we bring what we do to the whole club, and help everyone involved perform at their best without it coming at the cost of everything else they care about.”

Steven Bianchi, Co-Founder of lifestack, said:

“I’ve been coming to games at MK Lightning since 2002. This club means something to me personally. What Tom, Vicki and the team have built here is genuinely rare — a place where players want to play, the GB coach wants to coach, and supporters keep turning up year after year because the club has earned that loyalty. Putting the lifestack name on the front of this jersey isn’t a marketing decision. It’s a privilege.”

As part of the partnership, lifestack will be making its services available back into the Milton Keynes Lightning ecosystem to support the people who make the club what it is. Player sponsorships will be announced separately in the coming weeks, with further collaborations and initiatives to follow through the season.

This is more than a title sponsorship. It is an agreement to work together, season-long, to compound what already makes this club special.

That’s your lifestack Milton Keynes Lightning. Full presence. Full performance. No compromise.
