Willen Hospice has launched its annual Summer Super Draw, giving local residents the chance to pocket a sizeable cash prize while helping fund compassionate care for patients and families facing some of life’s toughest moments.

And this year, the jackpot has had a little glow-up.

The Hospice has increased its top prize to a very tempting £3,000, giving entrants even more reason to try their luck this summer.

There’s also a second prize of £300, a third prize of £200 and a whopping 100 prizes of £5 up for grabs.

As if that wasn’t enough, entrants can also be eligible for the weekly lottery rollover jackpot, which can climb to an impressive £7,500.

Not bad for the price of a chocolate bar.

Tickets cost just £1 each and can be purchased online or at any Willen Hospice shop across the region.

Of course, while the prizes are exciting, the real winner is local hospice care.

Every pound raised helps Willen Hospice continue providing specialist support to patients living with life-limiting illnesses and to the families standing beside them.

People like Lynda.

After previously visiting friends receiving care in the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit, she admits the thought of staying there herself was frightening when she needed help managing her own cancer symptoms.

But earlier this year, she found the courage to accept that support.

Today, she’s back at home and feeling stronger thanks to the care she received.

“Life without the Hospice would be terrible,” said Lynda.

“Now I know I’ve got some support. Not just on the phone, but people who see how you really are. Because on the outside you always want to be the tough one for everybody else.”

It’s a powerful reminder that behind every fundraising campaign, raffle ticket and donation sits a real person whose life has been touched by the Hospice’s work.

Louise Dela-Haye, who manages the draw for Willen Hospice, says entering couldn’t be simpler.

“The Summer Super Draw is an easy way to support your local hospice while enjoying the chance to win a great cash prize this summer,” she said.

“It only takes a few minutes to enter online or buy your tickets in our shops. Every entry helps us continue providing compassionate care and support to patients and their loved ones when they need it most.”

The Summer Super Draw is open to anyone aged 18 or over.

Ticket sales close on 13 August 2026, with the draw taking place the following day on 14 August.
