Police appeal after taxi driver robbed in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was robbed in the Oldbrook area of Milton Keynes.

The incident happened on Boycott Avenue in Oldbrook between 7.50pm and 8pm on Saturday (11/07).

The victim, a man in his thirties, reported that following a disagreement over payment for a journey, one of four passengers assaulted him while another stole a bag containing cash from inside the vehicle. The victim was not injured.

In their appeal, Thames Valley Police said that the offenders are described as four black males, believed to be in their mid-teens to early twenties. One of the group was carrying a crutch, which was being passed between them.

One suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, white socks, black shoes and a black beanie hat. A second suspect was wearing a thin black jacket over a black top, black trousers or joggers, black shoes and a black beanie hat.

A third suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, black trousers or joggers, white socks and black shoes, and had short black afro hair, while the fourth suspect was wearing a black jacket with a grey hood, black trousers or joggers and black shoes, and had curly brown afro hair.
