Northampton Town’s First Round draw in the FA Cup will see them make a second trip in quick succession to York City.
The Cobblers will make the trip to play the Minstermen at the LNER Stadium on the weekend around Saturday 7 November, with the specific date, kick-off time, ticket information and details of any TV coverage to be made in due course.
Northampton visited York in a league match on 10 October, with the Cobblers picking up a 1-1 draw away at York on that occasion.
York have made a bright start to the campaign, with Scott Lindsey’s side currently sat in fourth place in the League Two table on their return to the EFL.
The Cobblers’ FA Cup interest was ended after one round last season with Northampton knocked out after a 3-1 defeat by Oldham Athletic. Northampton have been knocked out of the FA Cup in the First Round in each of the last six seasons, with their last progress beyond that stage coming in the 2019/20 season.
