Christopher Biggins has been announced as a special guest star for the Milton Keynes Christmas Panto.
Biggins joins a cast featuring Alexandra Burke, Ceri Dupree, Richard Cadell and Sooty & Sweep in performances of Sleeping Beauty at MK Theatre from 5 December 2026 to 10 January 2027.
The announcement will see Biggins star as The Diva of Dreams as a part of the cast for the upcoming run of shows.
Biggins’ work has seen him appear on stage and screens for over thirty years as an actor, humourist and writer. He has appeared multiple TV shows over the years, including major roles in I, Claudius and Poldark, and winning ITV1’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and being crowned King of the Jungle.
He’s had an illustrious career spanning theatre, television and film, however best loved is his annual panto tradition, where his legendary dame performances have entertained families across the country for years.
On his casting, Christopher Biggins said, “For more than 60 incredible years, pantomime has filled me with pure joy, and the excitement of stepping on stage still feels just as thrilling as it did the very first time. This year, I’m especially excited to be taking on a brand new role as The Diva of Dreams, and I simply can’t wait to share the magic with Milton Keynes audiences”
