Autism Bedfordshire is a Bedford-based charity supporting autistic children, young people and adults and their families.

The charity was founded in the early 1990s by parents of autistic children and has grown into an organisation supporting more than 2,500 families and autistic individuals.

Its aim is to improve quality of life and create opportunities for autistic people to build confidence, develop skills, make friends and participate fully in their communities.

What does Autism Bedfordshire provide?

Its services include:

  • Life and work skills

  • Parent support

  • Training and information

The charity also provides opportunities for autistic people to develop independence and social confidence in an environment where they can feel comfortable and accepted.
