Milton Keynes City Council last week unveiled a bold new investment prospectus at UKREiiF, setting out an ambitious vision to attract investment and support sustainable, well planned growth in one of the UK’s fastest-growing cities.

Residents and visitors are invited to gather along the River Ouzel in Oakgrove on 4 June, from 5–7pm, to celebrate the opening of Nobody Lives by the Grid, a major new public artwork by Ivan Morison, developed with long-term collaborator Heather Peak and commissioned by Milton Keynes City Council in partnership with The Parks Trust.

Construction began yesterday (26 May 2026) on a new reuse and recycling centre in Wolverton that will make it easier for residents to recycle when it opens this year.
