Police investigating the alleged rape of a woman at a railway station have released the name and a picture of a man detectives want to talk to.

Billy Ormiston, 36, who is being sought by British Transport Police (BTP), was named by Warwickshire Police on Friday.

The alleged victim was attacked at Nuneaton Station last month.

Ormiston, who is pictured with brown hair and a beard, has links to the Nuneaton, Coventry and Atherstone areas, the force said.

He should not be approached, BTP warned, adding that anyone who saw him should call 999.

Officers were called to Nuneaton Station at 9.24pm on 13 March following reports of a rape.

A section of the station was cordoned off to allow forensic inquiries to take place.

The alleged victim is being supported by specially trained officers.

Warwickshire Police asked anyone with information about Ormiston's whereabouts to get in touch.
