A jury has been shown CCTV footage of the last moment a woman was seen alive before she went behind a car park wall with an alleged double murderer.

Sheryl Wilkins, a 39-year-old sex worker, had met Simon Levy, 40, moments earlier in Tottenham High Road after their paths crossed early on 24 August last year.

Levy, wearing a dark hooded top and sunglasses, and Ms Wilkins, dressed in a crop top, can be seen in CCTV footage walking behind a wall in the service yard of a B&M car park.

She is seen briefly walking towards the camera, then returning behind the wall shortly before 1am - the last time she was seen alive, a jury was told.

No movement is seen for 20 minutes, then Levy starts to walk out of the service yard, looks back and then returns behind the wall - an area the Old Bailey heard was regularly used by people to have sex.

Levy is seen walking away from the scene around 45 minutes after Ms Wilkins was last seen with his hood up and wearing sunglasses, which he wears because he is partially sighted.

The CCTV footage shows an unknown man had looked behind the wall, while a number of cars used the area to turn around, while Levy and Ms Wilkins were together.

One of the drivers, Boray Is, said: "I saw a male on the floor. I thought he was homeless because he was sitting down and there was something underneath him. And that's all I recall. He was just lying on the floor."

Ms Wilkins's body was found face down later that morning with a jacket placed over the top half of her body, including her head, after prosecutors say Levy smothered her in a sexually motivated murder.

Levy allegedly violently raped another woman, who cannot be identified because she is an alleged victim of a sexual offence, in the same location in January 2025.

Two months later, in March, he is accused of murdering Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, who was found dead in the stairwell of a largely abandoned block of flats in Southwark, southeast London.

The court has heard he was arrested and interviewed by police over Ms Valencia-Trujillo's alleged murder on 1 April last year but released.

The jury has also been told Levy was previously convicted of two sexual assaults committed in 2018, and 11 counts of sexual assault - including six in the first half of 2025.

Levy denies murdering the two women, and counts of rape, GBH and non-fatal suffocation, against the woman who survived. All three were sex workers.

The trial continues.
