Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted outside the Jaguar garage in the Kettering Road/Abington Square area of Northampton.
The incident happened on Wednesday, April 6, between 4pm and 5.15pm, when a man was pushed out of a car by another man, beaten up and had his jacket stolen from him.
The offender then drove off at speed.
Witnesses or anyone with information should contact Northamptonshire Police on 101.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and released under investigation pending further enquiries.
