Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Victoria Park, Northampton.
The incident happened on Saturday, October 29, between 4am and 5am, when a man approached the woman before placing her in a headlock.
Thankfully, two passers-by intervened, and the man ran away. They are being asked to come forward as they may have information crucial which could help the investigation.
The offender is described as a white man with a muscular build.
