Serious road traffic collision on Scarletwell Road, Northampton

Witnesses are being sought following a serious road traffic collision in Scarletwell Road, Northampton.

At about 5.15pm on Friday, April 22, a green Carrera Mountain Bike was in collision with a white Vauxhall Zafira at the junction of Scarletwell Road and St Andrews Road.

The cyclist – a man in his 20s - sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision.
