Serious road traffic collision in London Road, Northampton

Witnesses are being sought following a serious road traffic collision in London Road, Northampton.

At about 7pm on Wednesday, July 13, a cyclist, for reasons not yet known, collided with three stationary vehicles – a red VW Transport, a grey Vauxhall Mokka and a blue Dacia Sandero.

The cyclist – a man in his 50s from Northampton - sustained serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage of the actual collision or the cyclist prior to the incident.
