Road traffic collision on the A5 at Paulersbury

Witnesses are being sought following a road traffic collision on the A5, Paulersbury, on Sunday, April 3.

At about 2pm, a silver Toyota Yaris travelling northbound on the A5 collided with the rear of a stationary orange Jaguar F-Type, which was waiting to turn right into the Homestead.

As a result of the collision, the Yaris crossed the carriageway and collided head on with a red VW Urban Fox travelling in the opposite direction. The driver of the VW – a woman in her 60s – was taken to University Hospital Coventry with minor injuries.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the collision.
