A 22-year-old man is due to appear before Northampton Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday, February 23) after being charged with various offences.
Casey Edwards of Croydon, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs after he was stopped by officers in Pembroke Gardens in Northampton on Monday, February 21.
He was also charged with the assault of three emergency workers in connection with the same incident, and an application for forfeiture of proceeds of crime £2,123 cash was also due to be made at the hearing.
Edwards also faced a separate Section 18 wounding with intent charge after a serious assault at Sevens public house in Weedon Road, Northampton, on Friday, February 11.
