Fatal road traffic collision on the A43 near Broughton, Kettering

Witnesses are being sought following a fatal road traffic collision on the A43 near Broughton, Kettering.

At about 9.20am on Monday, June 6, a silver Ford Puma, travelling from Kettering towards Northampton, collided with a white Scania LGV travelling in the opposite direction.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the Ford Puma – a woman in her 40s – was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the LGV – a man in his 50s – was uninjured.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash-cam footage of the actual collision or the vehicle prior to the incident.
