CCTV footage released relating to attempted robbery in Lingswood

Police officers have released CCTV images of two people they wish to speak to following an attempted robbery in Lingswood, Northampton.

The incident happened back in April when a man walking towards Prentice Court was hit to the back of the head with a large tree branch, causing him to fall to the floor.

Two men then demanded his mobile phone before running off empty handed.

Northamptonshire Police would like those in the images, or anyone who might recognise them, to call on 101.
