Police officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to identify after an attempted robbery in Stamford Road, Kettering.
The incident happened at the Co-op on Wednesday, December 7, at about 9.20pm, when a man with a knife threatened a staff member and demanded that they open the till.
The staff member refused and the man ran off.
Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
