Assault in Northampton town centre

Witnesses are being sought after a man was assaulted after a verbal argument in Abington Street, Northampton.

The incident took place between 2.45pm and 3.15pm on Tuesday, March 15, when a man in his 30s was knocked unconscious by another man after being punched in the face.

The offender is described as a white man wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a black tracksuit top with the hood up. He was possibly with a woman.

Witnesses or anyone with information which could assist the investigation are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
