The Department for Education is trialling a new service for parents and carers with a child starting secondary school in the autumn.About School Profiles
School Profiles is a new online tool designed to help you find and compare state schools in England. It brings together important information in one place, including:
- information about school policies
- curriculum and extra-curricular activities
- academic performance data
This is a trial of the service
School Profiles is currently in a trial phase and we’re continuing to improve it and add new features over time. We are asking for a small number of parents in this local authority area to test it.
This is an opportunity to shape the service.
We’ll be gathering feedback during this period to help improve it before it is made available nationwide.
This service is led by the Department for Education and not the Local Authority.
