Northampton Town have signed goalkeeper Zach Jeacock on a season-long loan from Lincoln City.
The 25-year-old becomes the Cobblers’ second signing and first loan arrival ahead of the new season, following the previously announced arrival of striker Harvey Saunders.
Jeacock joined Lincoln in 2024 and made 22 appearances with the Imps, though all of his appearances last season came in cup competitions.
Cobblers boss Chris Hogg told the club’s official website that he represented a fine option to bring to the club as a new option in goal.
He said, “We are delighted to welcome Zach to Northampton Town. He is a goalkeeper with a lot of potential and someone who we think can do well for us.
“He is a good size, he has a powerful presence and is a keeper who is very technically able. He is a player with a first class attitude too, exactly the sort of character we want in the dressing room.
“Our conversations have been really productive, he wants to come in and help us move forward, we believe he can help us and we can help him with his development too.
“I know the club has a good record in developing goalkeepers over the years and we are sure Zach will prove an excellent addition for us.
“Our thanks are due to Lincoln City for trusting us with Zach which builds on a good relationship between the two clubs.”
