Midsummer Place has welcomed a sizzling new addition to its dining line-up as Smoke & Pepper officially opens its doors.
The restaurant has quickly captured attention with bold smoky flavours, seasonal ingredients, and an atmosphere that blends laid-back comfort with an elevated dining experience.
Social media is already buzzing over two standout dishes. The Viral Flying Dutchman Burger, stacked with flame-grilled patties, cheese and a secret Dutchman sauce between caramelised onions instead of a bun, is turning heads on TikTok and Instagram. Meanwhile, the Kunafa Dream Cake, a Middle Eastern-inspired dessert with layers of crunchy Kunafa, rich mousse, Bruce cake and a chocolate topping to smash through, is proving just as irresistible on camera as it is on the plate.
Sara Ibrahim, Executive Director of Smoke & Pepper, said:
“From day one, the welcome from the Milton Keynes community has been incredible. We set out to create somewhere people could enjoy both outstanding food and a great atmosphere, and seeing the restaurant buzzing every day has been so rewarding.”
Simon Martin, Centre Manager at Midsummer Place, added:
“Smoke & Pepper has brought a real buzz to the centre. It’s great to see such a dynamic new dining concept become a hit so quickly – it’s proving to be a real destination for food lovers in Milton Keynes.”
Located in the former Michael Kors unit, Smoke & Pepper offers a menu built around smoky grilled mains, fresh salads, artisan sides, and indulgent desserts. A curated drinks list of craft mocktails and locally sourced beverages completes the experience, making it a versatile choice for everything from a quick post-shopping bite to a celebratory dinner.
