The countdown is officially on – with just one week to go until Willen On Ice opens for the 2025 season, excitement is building across Milton Keynes!
The huge marquee is now up in its new location next to the Observation Wheel at Willen Lake, marking the start of the festive magic that locals look forward to every year. And this year, the attraction promises to be bigger and more spectacular than ever before.
Visitors can look forward to a host of new experiences and themed sessions, including the chance to skate with Elsa, meet and skate with Santa, and enjoy special character visits throughout the season.
As part of the launch celebrations, there’s also a special charity event on Saturday 29 November, featuring an exclusive performance from Team GB skaters – a dazzling show not to be missed! Plus, fans can meet players from MK Lightning Ice Hockey Team on Tuesday 26 November, bringing local sporting stars to the ice for photos and fun.
“Willen On Ice is a firm favourite for families and friends every winter, and this year we’re thrilled to unveil a new location and even more festive experiences,” said Emily Thorpe, Operations Manager at Willen Lake. “From skating with Santa to incredible performances and themed sessions, 2025 will be our biggest and best year yet.”
