MK Dons confirm end of shirt sponsorship deal with Suzuki

MK Dons have confirmed they will have a new front-of-shirt sponsor next season after the end of their deal with Japanese automobile maker Suzuki.

Suzuki, who have their UK head office located on the outskirts of the city, had been the Dons’ shirt sponsors since 2014, replacing Case Security in the gap between the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons.

In their time, Suzuki were sponsors for the Dons for some of the club’s most famous modern moments such as the 4-0 win over Manchester United in 2014, promotions in both 2015 and 2019, and Dean Lewington’s record-breaking 771st league appearance for the Dons in 2023.

MK Dons have yet to confirm the name of their new front-of-shirt sponsor. The club had previously confirmed that their sleeve sponsor Stadium Support Services will be retained for the 2026/27 campaign. It is anticipated that the kits will again be made by Reebok, who were confirmed as signing a “multi-year” contract with the Dons when announced as taking over from Castore for the current season.

The Dons said that the two parties will maintain a relationship, saying, “While our existing front-of-shirt and title partner agreement will conclude at the end of the 25/26 season, it is important to note that this does not mark the end of the relationship between the club and the company, which remains a huge part of the city.”

Neil Hart, Group CEO of MK Dons, said, “We’re beyond grateful to Suzuki GB for their phenomenal support over 12 seasons. For many, the club and company will forever be intrinsically linked. When you think of MK Dons in recent years, you think of Suzuki!

“We would like to personally thank Martin Lloyd, Dale Wyatt, and everyone at the Suzuki GB headquarters in Milton Keynes for their unwavering support for more than a decade. This has not only included supporting MK Dons and Stadium MK, but also the MK Dons Community Trust, MK Dons Women, and the MK Dons Academy.”

Martin Lloyd, Deputy Managing Director at Suzuki GB, added, “We’re extremely proud to have been associated with Milton Keynes Dons over the past 12 seasons. During this time, we have shared in many memorable highs and, admittedly, some challenging lows.

“Suzuki GB has played an important role in supporting both the club and the wider community, but we now feel the time is right for another partner to take on that mantle as MK Dons enters its next chapter.”
