MK Dons have begun their pre-season preparations ahead of the 2026/27 season by winning away at Maidenhead United.
The Dons were 4-1 winners away at the National League South side, with goals from Damerai Singh-Hurditt, academy graduate Jack Perniskie and a Rushian Hepburn-Murphy brace doing the job for Paul Warne’s side.
There would be a concern for them, however, as captain Alex Gilbey would be taken off in the opening minutes of the contest with a knee injury.
Having taken victory in their first game ahead of their return to League One, the Dons will now head out to a training camp in Croatia, which will include a contest against Croatian side NK Istra as they continue to prepare for their season opener, which sees them play Norwich in a Carabao Cup tie on August 8th.
