Leighton Buzzard Market will be supporting Great Big Green Week which runs from 6th - 14th June , the UK’s largest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.
On Saturday 13th June (8.30am-3.00pm) the market will host a special Green Market Event, bringing together local community organisations and activities.
One of the highlights of the day will be the chance for visitors to take part in naming the Town Council’s first electric vehicle, marking an exciting step forward in the council’s commitment to reducing emissions and supporting a more sustainable future for the town.
There'll be other local organisations, an eco-pledge board and our grounds team on site with their EV van, and new electric hand tools.
