The release of the image and associated appeal relates to an incident that happened around 5pm on Saturday 17 January near Phoenix Drive in the Leadenhall area of the city.

Thames Valley Police’s description of the incident in their appeal states that the victim, a girl in her teens, was walking and was approached by a man asking for directions, when he inappropriately touched her in the redway near Phoenix Drive.

“We are also appealing for the female who assisted the victim to come forward, as we believe she may be able to assist our investigation.”
