Luton Town have confirmed the departure of first team players as they published their retained list.
With the Hatters’ season over, Luton published their EFL mandated retained list and have confirmed that Jacob Brown, Zack Nelson and Cohen Bramall will all leave the Bedfordshire club upon expiry of contract.
Ali Al-Hamadi, Nigel Lonwijk, Emilio Lawrence, Kasey Palmer and Davy van den Berg will leave Kenilworth Road at the end of their loan spells.
Jordan Clark, Liam Walsh and Elijah Adebayo are out of contract but Luton have confirmed they are in negotiations with all 3 players to extend their contracts with the League One club.
Ethon Archer, Christian Chigozie, Joe Gbodé, Joe Johnson, Josh Keeley, Gideon Kodua, Jayden Luker, Oli Lynch, Christ Makosso, Jake Richards, Sverre Sandal, Reuell Walters, Millenic Alli, Mads Andersen, Shandon Baptiste, Devante Cole, Thomas Holmes, Isaiah Jones, Teden Mengi, Shayden Morris, Kal Naismith, Lasse Nordås, Hakeem Odoffin, George Saville, James Shea, Nahki Wells, Cauley Woodrow and Jerry Yates are all senior players retained at the club.
Henry Blackledge, Liam Coyne, Jordan Iwhiwhu, Claude Kayibanda, Vlad Paternoster, Joshua Phillips and Kai Source have been released from the club’s under-21s, while Benny Benagr, Zach Ioannides, Alvin Isufi, Jack Lorentzen-Jones, Jamie Odegah, Charlie Trustram and Tate Xavier-Jones have all had options to extend their deals taken up.
In a statement, Luton Town said, “We thank all departing players immensely for their service during their time with the Club and wish them every success for the future.”
The Hatters have also confirmed details of their first pre-season friendly. Jack Wilshere’s side will host Dutch top flight side Go Ahead Eagles on 2 August, with the game being a 1pm kick-off at Kenilworth Road.
