Taking place on Wednesday 21 October 2026 from 8.30am to 12.30pm, the event brings together HR and Talent leaders for a morning of practical discussion, expert insight, networking and honest conversations about the challenges facing organisations as they look towards 2027.

The event is being hosted by MIXXOS Group, whose IN THE MIXX community has been created specifically to give HR and Talent professionals a space to step away from the day-to-day, share experiences and discuss the issues that really matter. The wider community has already brought together around 400 professionals through its events.

What can you expect?

The morning will focus on some of the big questions you may already be considering for your organisation in 2027.

You’ll explore how to develop a sharper people strategy, what really drives performance and retention, and the talent and succession challenges you need to prepare for now.

There will also be discussion around strengthening leadership and accountability, workforce planning and whether you should buy, build or borrow the skills your organisation needs.

An employment law update will look at the developments that could have a practical impact on employers, while a live panel will give you the opportunity to hear different perspectives and take part in the conversation.

Among the speakers will be Sara Marshall, Head of Employment Law at Franklins Solicitors, who will bring a practical legal perspective to the discussions. Further speaker and panel announcements are expected ahead of the event.

More than just another HR event

IN THE MIXX is designed around conversation rather than simply sitting and listening.

You’ll have the chance to ask questions, share your own experiences with other HR and Talent professionals and make connections with people dealing with many of the same challenges.

There will also be opportunities to explore future collaborations, including speaking and event opportunities within the wider IN THE MIXX community.

And, because it’s an early morning event, breakfast and refreshments are included.
