The team at Citizens Advice Milton Keynes are calling on the local community to discover the rewarding world of volunteering and help make a real difference in their community.
Many people are surprised to learn that Citizens Advice Milton Keynes is a local, independent charity, not a government agency. Since 1972, the charity has supported more than 500,000 people across Milton Keynes with over 2.5 million individual problems, providing free, impartial and confidential advice on issues including debt, housing, benefits, employment and more.
The charity relies on volunteers to help deliver these vital services and is now encouraging MK residents to explore how they could get involved.
From providing high-quality advice and information to welcoming clients on reception, or supporting vital behind-the-scenes work in administration, research and campaigns, there is a role to suit a variety of skills, interests and experience levels

If you’d like to take a real behind the scenes look into the work of Citizens Advice Milton Keynes, you can see firsthand how the charity supports local people every day at their October Open Day event.
