Bedford Giving is a community-powered movement bringing together local businesses, charities, schools, families and individuals to improve opportunities for children and young people in Bedford.

It is hosted by The Harpur Trust and focuses on creating a brighter future for the next generation.

Bedford Giving was created following local research into the issues facing young people. Its work includes opportunities around careers, skills, mentoring, mental health, youth activities and youth spaces.

In 2026, Bedford Giving's Youth Panel awarded more than £87,000 to eight organisations delivering projects for young people across Bedford Borough.
