Police appeal after motorcyclist killed in road collision in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Milton Keynes last Friday (6/2). 

The incident happened when a silver Honda 125 motorcycle, a Mercedes-Benz articulated lorry and a black Volkswagen Golf were involved in the collision on Chippenham Drive in the Kingston area of the city at around 7.05pm. 

The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man, sadly died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and Thames Valley Police have said the next of kin have been offered their support. No arrests have been made at this time. 

Investigating officer PC Ricky Sims, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said, “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the loved ones of the man who tragically lost his life in this collision. 

“We are investigating this collision as a priority, so I am urging any witnesses to get in touch. 

“Also, any drivers with a dashcam who were in the area at the time should review any footage they may have as it could hold vital information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
