Milton Keynes’ most magical winter attraction, Willen on Ice, is back from Saturday 15 November, promising more festive fun than ever before at Willen Lake.

This year’s line-up includes a host of special guests who’ll be taking to the ice throughout the season. Families can meet Bluey on 20 November, Elsa on 9 December, The Grinch on 16 December, and Santa himself on 23 December, with plenty of opportunities for photos and festive cheer.

New for 2025 are the Friday Disco Nights, designed especially for teens aged 11 to 18. Every Friday from 7pm, the rink will transform into a vibrant ice disco with music, lights, and plenty of energy – all from just £11.95 a ticket.

Fans of ice hockey are also in for a treat, with the chance to skate alongside the MK Lightning team on 26 November at 7pm, in a special one-night-only event.

Operations Manager Emily Thorpe said: “We’re thrilled to offer visitors not just the magic of skating, but a truly festive experience that brings families, friends, and the wider community together. With disco nights, character visits, and the chance to skate with MK Lightning, we’re making this season extra special.”

Willen on Ice remains a highlight of the Milton Keynes festive calendar, with sessions for all ages and abilities, and group bookings available for schools, businesses, and parties.
