CCTV released by police after theft of steering wheel from classic F1 car at Silverstone

CCTV has been released by police after the theft of a steering wheel from a classic F1 car at Silverstone.

Northamptonshire Police released the CCTV image relating to an incident that happened at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on July 4th around 2:30pm.

The incident when happened when a steering wheel was removed from a vintage Formula 1 car that was on display at the Northamptonshire/Buckinghamshire racetrack.

Police say they are releasing the image as they believe that the man depicted in the image could assist police with their enquiries. They have asked that he or anyone who recognises him is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
