Police appeal after sexual assault reported in Milton Keynes

Police are appealing for witnesses after a sexual assault was reported in Milton Keynes.

The incident happened around 5pm on Saturday (17/1), when the victim, a girl in her teens, was walking on the redway near Phoenix Drive, Leadenhall. 

She was approached by a man asking for directions when he inappropriately touched her. The victim subsequently shouted which alerted a female from a nearby property who went to help. 

The offender is described as a black man, aged in his late teens, of medium build, with a short afro and, a slight moustache. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a black jacket and red trainers. 

Investigating officer, Police Constable Bethan Paterson said, “I am appealing to anybody who may witnessed this incident or has information that could assist in our investigation to contact Thames Valley Police. 

“I am also appealing to the female who went to help the victim to come forward as we believe you may be able to assist our investigation.
